Crème Atelier creates the Soft Serve Lamp, which is designed exactly as it is named after. It is able to illuminate any space with a playful angle. The design studio created the lighting solution to replicate the look of a 'swirly ice cream' and it comes in a series of sorbet-themed colors.
Additionally, the Soft Serve lamp is 3D-printed and is made with inspiration drawn from sweet goods. Co-founder of Crème Atelier Jacqueline Jessidis notes, “We find that baked goods and desserts have very captivating shapes and forms. We were very intrigued by the creamy organic shapes of meringue and soft-serve ice cream. Soft serve lamp is inspired by the swirly ice creams and we like to compare the 3D printer with an ice cream machine.”
