Shock Top Brewing Co. has released a unique, customer-interaction style of advertising. The brand's logo/mascot/spokesperson, called Wedgehead, verbally engages with customers in the most unconventional way -- chatting with them, through a billboard, or a case of beer.

The humorous, quick-witted and very sarcastic Wedgehead will strike up a conversation with passersby; he uses small-talk, discussing weather, dating/rejection and their choice of clothing, before mentioning the beer itself. He holds a great conversation, adding a fresh voice to beer advertisements.

It's a brilliant way to advertise, to make a brand connection, and do it all through the oldest, and simplest way: word of mouth. People will remember their conversation with Wedgehead, and it's a great story to tell friends. Not to mention, it's extremely entertaining to watch on YouTube.
