Bud Light x Traeger Grills Launch the 'Traegerator'

Bud Light x Traeger Grills have come together to unveil the 'Traegerator,' a hybrid keg-and-grill designed to capture the energy of tailgate season. More than just a novelty item, the machine incorporates built-in speakers and is being promoted through an Instagram sweepstakes, inviting consumers to enter for a chance to win a tailgate experience featuring the product.

To bring the launch to life, the two brands leaned into retro nostalgia with a 90-second infomercial-style campaign modeled after 1990s television spots. The video stars Bud Light brand partners George Kittle, tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, and Baker Mayfield, quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the narrative, the athletes daydream about the ultimate all-in-one grill before the Traegerator dramatically appears in a haze, complete with a Bud Light–inspired lid, playful jingle, and humorous demonstrations.

Although wrapped in Bud Light branding, the campaign carefully keeps the grill as the focal point. In line with NFL advertising regulations, Kittle and Mayfield do not directly handle or consume alcohol, ensuring compliance while keeping the spotlight on the product’s inventive features.
