The Pure Piraña Hard Seltzer is Just 100 Calories Per Can

The Pure Piraña hard seltzer is a new product from Heineken that will be launching in Mexico and New Zealand to provide consumers with a low-calorie way to enjoy a drink or two. The drinks will be launched in a flavors such as grapefruit, peach and red fruit in Mexico and raspberry and lime in New Zealand, while an additional range of flavors will be launched in the near future as well. The drinks have a carbonated mineral water and natural fruit flavor profile with a 5% ABV and just 100 calories per can.

Chief Commercial Officer at Heineken Jan Derck van Karnebeek explained the new Pure Piraña hard seltzer drinks further saying, "Innovation is embedded in everything we do at Heineken which is why we continuously use our expertise to create new and exciting taste experiences for consumers. We are seeing more and more people look for a low-calorie alcoholic alternative and the result is the rapid growth of the hard seltzer category. The launch of Pure Piraña offers a way for us to meet customers’ evolving needs and explore a new growth opportunity for our business.”
