TAAG Angola Airlines Adds AirFi Streaming Across Its Fleet

TAAG Angola Airlines is adding portable wireless in-flight entertainment across its regional and long-haul fleet, allowing passengers to stream on their own Wi-Fi-enabled devices instead of relying on seatback screens. AirFi's system is already being deployed across the airline's aircraft mix, including Airbus A220s and Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

The setup is designed to require minimal aircraft modifications or downtime, making it easier to bring entertainment to both regional turboprops and widebody jets. That flexibility helps TAAG maintain a more consistent onboard experience across routes and aircraft types.

Minimal modifications make wireless IFE a lighter retrofit than embedded cabin screens. It also gives airlines a way to spread digital entertainment across mixed fleets without tying the upgrade to a single aircraft model, broadening the category's practical reach.
