SAS Has Completed Its Starlink WiFi Installation Across Its Fleet

SAS has equipped all 81 Airbus A320neo aircraft with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, bringing gate-to-gate connectivity to its core short-haul fleet. Passengers can use the service to work, stream and browse, while EuroBonus members receive access at no charge through the airline’s partnership with telecommunications company 3.

Installations were completed alongside normal flight operations, with each aircraft undergoing installation, testing and approval before returning to service. The A320neo fleet accounts for about 70% of SAS’s total aircraft and forms the backbone of its Scandinavian and European network. SAS is preparing to extend Starlink to its remaining aircraft types, with additional installations planned before year-end. For travelers, the rollout expands access to continuous connectivity across more routes.

The program reflects airlines’ shift toward treating satellite internet as a standard onboard service. For SAS, offering it as a EuroBonus benefit strengthens the loyalty program while differentiating its passenger experience.
