Connected Cabin Menus

airBaltic Lets Passengers Order Food and Drinks from Their Seats

airBaltic is expanding its onboard portal with 'Skynet airCafe,' a seat-ordering option that lets passengers order food and drinks from their own devices and have cabin crew deliver purchases. The feature is rolling out gradually on Starlink-equipped aircraft, starting with short- and medium-haul flights, and it runs through the airline's 'Skynet' portal.

The digital menu shows live availability, so travelers can see which items are still in stock before paying. Orders can be tracked from checkout to delivery, and airBaltic Club members who order through the app get 10% off hot and soft drinks. The broader Skynet portal, introduced at the end of March 2026, already includes flight details and onboard shopping.

Starlink-backed ordering turns in-flight connectivity into a direct retail channel for airBaltic, not just an information screen. Live stock visibility also makes onboard sales more efficient by reducing requests for sold-out items.
