Delta Air Lines is expanding globally connected airline wi-fi by introducing complimentary internet access across its Asia-Pacific routes, completing coverage throughout its international network. The service allows SkyMiles members in every cabin to browse websites, communicate, and stream entertainment during long-distance flights, creating a more connected travel experience.
Nearly 1,300 Delta aircraft now feature Wi-Fi, representing more than 95% of its fleet. Passengers can connect multiple devices and access Delta Sync, which offers entertainment, news, and live sports through partners including Sport 24. Additional satellite capacity across the Americas will support growing connectivity demands, while remaining aircraft are expected to receive Wi-Fi by early 2027.
For Delta, the expansion strengthens its international passenger experience and supports SkyMiles engagement. Consistent connectivity could appeal to business and leisure travelers while creating additional opportunities to promote digital entertainment and partner offerings.
