Virtuous Pie is a Canadian fast-casual restaurant serving plant-based pizzas and house-made ice cream that has previously taken part in collaborations with a focus on flavor experimentation—in partnership with Phantom Beer Co., Virtuous Pie is now introducing a unique new pineapple beer.
The collaborative 'Virtuous Pineapple IPA' is made with Virtuous Pie's proprietary pizza flour and El Dorado hops, which helps to give the beer its pineapple and citrus aroma. During the making of the beer, Phantom Beer Co. opted not to add any fruit to the mixture, which is said to create a "slight bitterness that's balanced by juicy sweetness."
The Virtuous Pineapple IPA can be identified by its brightly colored pop art-style label, which boasts a dynamic primary color scheme and Ben-Day dots that mimic an old printing process.
