Thanks to the rise in plant-based eating, a great number of new vegan restaurants have been popping up around the globe. Los Angeles is home to a high volume of vegan restaurant concepts, including Nic's on Beverly, a new venture from Nic Adler, the vegan culinary director of Goldenvoice festivals like Coachella and Eat Drink Vegan.
The Los Angeles restaurant and cocktail bar boasts nostalgic decor that draws inspiration from the 70s and 80s, as well as dishes that feature house-made vegan-friendly cheese or eggs. Some of the standout items on the menu include the Falafel Burger with truffle tahini and harissa-spiced secret sauce, Avocado Crispy Rice with ponzu, citrus fruits and cilantro and even a comforting Vegetable Pot Pie.
Notably, no premade plant-based products are on the menu at Nic's on Beverly.
