'Lungs of the Oceans' by Aude Bourgine is Ornately Chic

Coral reef conservation has become an important topic as the fragile aquatic ecosystems begin to show signs of ailing in many parts of the world, so artists are taking new approaches to raise awareness as seen with 'Lungs of the Oceans' by Aude Bourgine.

The collection of artworks consists of artificial coral reef sculptures that have been crafted from beads, textiles, and other materials that the artist has recovered. Each piece is housed in a glass bell jars to put them on display and remind us of the beautiful underwater ecosystems that are experiencing hardship in the face of climate change and other environmental factors.

'Lungs of the Oceans' by Aude Bourgine will be exhibited by the artist at Saint Julien Chapel in Le Petit-Quevilly in Northern France starting on June 7, 2019.
