The Microbi Design Coral Soaps collection has been designed by scientific designer Laura Maria Gonzalez as an ethereal series of soap products that blur the line between function and form. The soap designs are observed in high-intensity pinks, muted yellows and fresh green hues, which are each inspired by the structure of coral reefs with their various ridges and swirls throughout. The range puts a spotlight on reefs like the Leptoria, Platygyra and Agaricia coral reef specifies to give them a realistic look and feel, instead of only being an abstract design.
