In order to give the kids of Portobello on the Otago Peninsula a very festive holiday surprise this year, Air New Zealand set up a giant Christmas tree.
The fun stunt involved having the kids picked up by none other than Santa and driven to a mountain, which was set up like a gigantic holiday tree that was decked out in lights. To top off the surprise, each of the kids was gifted a special present with their name on it—given to them by not one of Santa's elves, but one of Air New Zealand's flight attendants. It might be hard to get your hands on ornaments of a similar size, but this would be a fun Christmas memory to recreate on your own for friends and family.
