Plastic Bottle-Made Christmas Trees

Caroline Chaptini Creates the a Sustainable Christmas tree

Recycling artist Caroline Chaptini creates a new Christmas tree that highlights a sustainable approach above all else. She previously broke the Guinness world record for creating the largest bottle cap mosaic in 2020. Now, with the help of a team of environmental activists and Pierre Ziadech, who is the festival director of the Christmas by the Lake festival that takes place in northern Lebanon.

They create a plastic tree that is made from 108,000 plastic bottles. It glistens in green tones for a festive theme. It joins two other plastic displays in the project which includes a plastic cave and a globe that is made from 105,000 plastic layers -- this reads "We don't have Planet B."
