Airbnb Presents its Santastrophe Campaign Following Santa Claus

Airbnb has launched its inaugural holiday advertisement: Santastrophe is a new campaign that brings a unique twist to Santa Claus' yearly duties. The short film is an adorably animated video that sees Santa Claus coming into trouble while he is trying to deliver gifts.

The issues include cramped hotel rooms or key cards that simply do not work. All of this contrasts against the traditional idea when he would just pop into the chimney and deliver presents. The rental platform brings attention to the idea that many of their homes have an important chimney or a warm space, which is difficult to come by in a hotel room. Santastrophe is running across the US, Canadian, Brazilian, Australian, Mexican, German, and British markets.
