During the holiday season, a few countdown calendars may begin to surface, but none are as unique and creative as these nontraditional advent calendars.
While the usual advent calendar houses chocolates or sweets for each day of its scheduled month, such date keepers as the Drinks By the Dram calendar and New District's Wine calendar offer boozy substitutes. A more child-friendly initiative would be the LEGO Star Wars calendar which presents a new toy every day while Finland Tourism's calendar offers a new emoji daily.
These nontraditional advent calendars go on to include fashion-forward products such as the Benefit Beauty cosmetic calendar filled with lush skin products whereas Chanel's calendar instillation offers shoppers designer goodies each day in December.
