Rather than chocolate, this year Drinks by the Dram is introducing a series of very adult advent calendars filled with small samples of cognac, vodka, tequila and rum.
Each of the calendars is filled with 24 3cl bottles that have been hand-labelled and sealed with wax, so that opening up the unique advent calendar each day throughout December really feels like you're getting a present. What you can expect to find inside the countdown calendars are spirits like Hine Antique XO Premier Cru Cognac, Herradura Añejo Tequila and Chase Marmalade Vodka. Rather than opening up this advent calendar first thing in the morning like you may have done as a kid, it might be best to leave these ones until the evening. Each of the premium advent calendars features a whimsical illustration by artist Duncan Beedie.
