The Dominique Ansel Kitchen is Now Serving Cold Brew Soft Serve

— May 29, 2017 — Lifestyle
Inspired by the immense popularity of cold brew coffee, the Dominique Ansel Kitchen in New York City is now serving a Cold Brew Soft Serve treat.

While there are plenty of coffee-flavored ice cream products on the market, this new dessert from the creator of the Cronut sets itself apart as a gourmet indulgence. The Cold Brew Soft Serve is made with a house-made milk base that is infused with genuine cold brew coffee for a period of 12 hours overnight. Once it is ready to serve, the decadent dessert is topped with a textured biscotti stick, milk foam and a sprinkling of cocoa powder.

In terms of taste, Ansel describes that "It has a deep coffee flavor — it’s like drinking a nice glass of cold brew. It’s completely different from coffee ice cream: richer when it comes to flavor, without being bitter or sour. It’s a good, clean coffee taste, that’s how I’d describe it."
