Designers become ever more creative as the see-through fashion movement progresses. While some brands choose to use the properties of PVC to accent a clothing staple, others go all-in and produce full-on stylish reinterpretations of conventional garments. For example, e-commerce shop PrettyLittleThings stunned consumers earlier this year with the launch of fully transparent trousers that add a provocative twist to the everyday outfit. Luxury brands like Comme Des Garcons, Building Block and Prada, on the other hand, offer translucent totes which have become by far the biggest manifestation of the stylish PVC movement.

See-through fashion is also observed on the catwalk as future-forward labels like Maison Margiela, Anrealage and Balmain utilize transparent materials in very creative ways as strong detail embellishments for their designs. Anrealage's holographic coats, for example, rely on transparent, light-sensitive fabrics for their mind-boggling effect.
