The top May 2016 activewear ideas include a number of newly announced apparel collections and other new performance-enhancing innovations.

First and foremost, Beyonce recently announced the launch of her activewear collection, Ivy Park. Named after the Houston city park that she used to jog through each morning as a child, the unique line is super stylish and emphasizes the general fixation with comfort-focused, fitness-friendly apparel dominating fashion collections.

Separately, Nike recently hosted an immersive exhibition at Milan Design Week 2016 that highlighted the brand's emphasis on cutting edge design. Created to engage the design community around the brand's vision, the Nature of Motion exhibition demonstrated the mission and work of Nike's industrial design team. The exhibition included eight different exhibits and highlights the pervasiveness of the activewear movement across industry.
