The depictions of violence collected for this cluster are sure to shock anyone. The many ways that violence can be portrayed are amazing to me.
From revealing the realistic brutally of violence to glamorizing and glorifying hurtful behavior and weapons, violence clearly leaves quite an impression on our minds, and these depictions of violence will surely do just that.
Implications - When applied to the world of advertising, violence is a powerfully provocative aesthetic. Ads that suggest conflict and turmoil are eerily effective when it comes to generating consumer interest. Although this can at times lead to shocking and uncomfortable marketing efforts, companies which are struggling to get their ads noticed should take note of this realization.
