Every year, as more and more designers enter the fashion industry in the hopes of showcasing their creative talent and individual sense of style, there has been an increasing show of aggressive type fashion. Aggressive fashion being that designers are motivated in creating increasingly more progressive fashion wear for their models to display on the runway, like insect-laden and alien-inspired runway shows. The purpose in the growing increase in radical designs in the fashion industry is because of the designer’s desire and need to stand out and make a mark amongst the huge pool of long, established designers in the fashion industry.
In today’s modern age, consumers are continuously bombarded with new technology, innovations and ideas. As a result, our senses become so saturated that we need to find increasingly innovative and over-the-top ideas in order to draw the consumer’s attention in.
