Creating product focus through literal and simplified packaging
Implications - Packaging is often just as important as the product contained within, but many brands are beginning to eschew busy and artistic exterior designs in favor of very simple and literal packaging. In doing so, a brand can highlight a product's integrity. There is no need for attention-grabbing artistry to persuade the consumer to buy--the product's quality is implied. What's more, this type of "obvious" packaging fits with the overall general shift toward simplification in product design.
