One notable example is from razor company Gillette who recently converted two of its razor manufacturing plants to produce plastic face shields for medical workers — supplies that are desperately needed to keep these frontline workers safe while helping others. The brand was able to produced and donated 100,000 face shields to various hospital across the nation. In addition, online pharmacy Cabinet recently introduced a pay-what-you-can model to allow struggle consumers access to over-the-counter medicines as well as hand sanitizer at accessible price points.
