49 Ways to Honor International Women's Day

This 8th of March we can spend some time reflecting on all the magnificent women worldwide, and their inventions and contributions to every part of society globally. The day is meant to highlight the accomplishments of women, but also to focus attention on some of the gaps that still remain between the rights of women and men. 

The International Women’s Day website has some interesting facts, some of them shocking. For example, it claims women do 2/3 of the world’s work, but receive only 10% of the world’s income. At the same time, only in Japan and Peru do more women start businesses than men.
