Momentous Tackles Gender Disparities in Sports Nutrition

Momentous has taken a significant step toward addressing gender disparities in sports nutrition with the launch of The Women's Three™ supplement bundle and a $500,000 research initiative called 'Change The Ratio.'

Developed in collaboration with female physiology expert Dr. Stacy Sims, the NSF-certified Women's Three™ supplement product line specifically targets three critical nutritional needs for active women — iron for energy and cognitive function, calcium for bone health, and vitamin D3 for immune support and calcium absorption. The supplements utilize highly bioavailable forms of each nutrient and follow a timed dosing protocol to optimize efficacy based on female physiology. The iron is taken in the morning with absorption boosters, while the calcium and D3 are for the evening.

Beyond product development, Momentous is making a substantial financial commitment to fund research on women's health and performance — a field that has historically received minimal attention, with only 6% of sports science studies between 2014-2020 focusing exclusively on women.
