Blindsgalore Boasts That Its Workforce is 75% Female

Blindsgalore, a family-owned and women-led e-commerce company that pioneered the online sale of custom window coverings in 1998, is observing Women's History Month by highlighting its workforce composition, which is now 75% female. Founded by Chelle Walters and currently led by her daughter, CEO Alissa Walters, the company holds certification as a Women's Business Enterprise through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.

Over nearly three decades, the San Diego-based retailer has facilitated the customization and purchase of blinds and shades for more than two million windows across the country. Blindsgalore offers products at various price points, and its online model includes design tools, free samples, and direct customer support.
