Architectural Wine Ads

This Wine Ad Recreates Barcelona from Handmade Paper Buildings

Zim & Zou, a French design agency, recreated the Barcelona cityscape for a vibrant wine ad for Freixenet, a leading producer of Spanish sparkling wines.

In order to do so, Zim & Zou crafted the scene using intricate paper architecture all in pink. The company includes all the minute details in the tiny buildings, including window shutters and every individual balcony. With this careful attention, the wine ad is given substantial depth that makes people want to stare longer and therefore better remember the Freixenet brand name when they go to stores. With the buildings, palm trees and a gondola in the image all made from pink paper, the packaging of the feminine wine works into the cityscape and likens the wine to the color to make it more memorable for consumers as well.
