Buko is now introducing a trio of coconut vinegar hot sauce products that are based on traditional recipes from the Philippines.
Each of the Regular, Tangy and Fiery sauces features a base of fermented coconut sap, which is incredibly rich in nutrients. While the original Regular sauce is made with just organic coconut vinegar, chilli, garlic and sea salt, the other varieties from Buko are built upon with ingredient additions like ginger, black pepper and organic coconut balsamic. These versatile, exotic sauces have the potential to be used in a range of applications, such as everything from salads and marinades to sauces.
As Buko's Aled Morris describes: "It’s clear there’s an ever-growing demand for this kind of Asian food and so bringing a more authentic sauce to the market makes a lot of sense and we feel people will enjoy the added complexity of flavor that the subtle sweetness of the coconut vinegar brings."
