'Toilet Break' was on Display at the London Design Festival

At the London Design Festival 2016, attendees in need of a rest stop might have looked around for a nearby water closet, but if there was nothing in the vicinity, the 'Toilet Break' exhibition could also suffice. The expo showcased forward-thinking designs related to defecation, and it was put together by design magazine 'Dirty Furniture' in collaboration with the 'Shit Museum.'

Though it might sound crass, the Shit Museum is a very serious and earnest design collection. In fact, the museum won a Milano Design Award when it was displayed in Milan.

Items in Toilet Break include 'Tilted Merdacotta,' a series of food and water-safe terracotta vases, plates, cups, and furniture made from cow manure, and Takram London's "adult nappy," an adult diaper that increases the efficiency of factory workers.
