While Starbucks already has a rewards program in place, the global coffee shop chain is launching a special loyalty card just for the summer season. Designed to promote its iced drinks during the hottest months of the year, the new loyalty plan gives consumers a budget-friendly way to beat the heat.
Starbucks' new promotion involves rewarding customers with one free Grande iced drink after purchasing a total of five iced drinks. In order to start tracking their drink purchases, customers will have to ask their local barista for an iced sampler card. Customers will then receive a sticker for each purchase of a Grande iced tea or coffee.
The special loyalty card is available now and consumers will only have until August 8th to start racking up rewards.
