Terry Hearnshaw's Seaweed Capsule concept reimagines hand sanitizer as a single-use item that could be easily be dispensed as needed, saving people the need to carry around full bottles of sanitizer.
All sorts of businesses, from skincare brands to breweries, are now offering their own hand sanitizers and designers are now rethinking the way these products are formulated. In response to a global pandemic, hand sanitizer sales have skyrocketed, and the use of these products is likely to continue as people look for on-the-go solutions to give them peace of mind. As Terry Hearnshaw describes, "I thought it was such a clever idea to reconceive hand sanitizer as something that could be shared in single-use capsule form or bought from a simple dispenser like a gumball machine."
