The craft beer brand Roscoe Beer Company is teaming up with Sullivan County Community College to help students create new ads for the company and learn about advertising in the process. While many beer brands promote their products at the campus bar, this brewing company has found a way to turn its product into something that students can study in the classroom.

As part of a partnership between Sullivan County Community College and the agency KKPR Marketing & Public Relations, Inc., Roscoe Beer Company is launching a hands-on project for students taking both computer science and advertising classes. The project will involve creating print ads and comping up with other marketing ideas for the beer brand. The idea is to give students a tangible and local product that they can use to test out what they have learned in school. In turn, the partnership also gives Roscoe Beer Company a new way to connect with college-age consumers.
