Doily Decal Skulls

The Joshua Harker ‘Crania Anatomica’ is a Delicate Wonder

The Joshua Harker ‘Crania Anatomica’ sculpture is an interesting and exquisite piece. The detailing on the human skull is very intricate and even resembles patterns one might find on a doily. In order to get this sculpture project off the ground, Chicago-based artist Harker sought the help of funding platform Kickstarter to raise $500 for this project. He didn’t end up raising $500, but a staggering $77, 271. This made his sculpture the highest funded project since Kickstarter was started.

The miniature sculpture is small enough to hold in the palm of your hand, but be gentle as it is fragile. Each sculpture has intricate and thorough detailing throughout that adds to the elegance of the skull. These mini skulls are a perfect addition to your collection of knick knacks and collectable art pieces.
