Starry-Eyed Dichroic Sculptures

Hikari Shimoda Unveils the 'Children of this Planet #38' Sculpture

Japanese artist Hikari Shimoda is set to release a starry-eyed dichroic sculpture called 'Children of this Planet #38.' In collaboration with Avant Arde, the dichroic sculpture resembles Hikari Shimoda's 'Children of this Planet' portrait series. Hikari Shimoda is known for her artwork which features anime-inspired childlike figures with expressions of innocence and chaos.

The dichroic sculpture is constructed in a dichroic resin that inhabits several shades of color while maintaining a semi-translucent figure. The art piece features the appearance of a kid with a bob-like hairstyle wearing a hoodie. The standout feature of this dichroic sculpture is its eyes, which are semi-translucent, with the left eye colored red and the right eye multi-colored.

The dichroic sculpture measures 11.8 x 9.8 x 7.5 inches, and there is a signature on the bottom from the artist. There are only 50 units made of this piece, which will be available on April 20 for $5,507.
