There is certainly no shortage of sleep trackers on the market, but the 'Thim' is a new one that enables users to get better sleep through an unexpected means.
The 'Thim' is worn like a ring on one's finger before going to bed; for the first hour after climbing into bed, the ring will vibrate every three minutes. This is to disrupt the person's sleeping pattern and wake them up. After the user has moved their finger to signify that they're awake, the 'Thim' goes to work repeating the cycle for up to an hour after the person has gone to bed.
The 'Thim' device enables users to get better sleep by augmenting their sleeping pattern and style to help them fall asleep faster and stay asleep better.
