AI-Powered Pizza Orders

Flying Pie is Testing Conversational AI for Phone Orders

Across all of its locations in Idaho, Flying Pie is testing out conversational AI for phone orders. The pizzeria is trying out a new way to enhance the customer experience with kea’s conversational AI, and it will ultimately make sure that every phone order is answered and placed during peak rush hours.

Currently, Flying Pie gets 50% plus to-go orders by phone and there's not always someone there to answer the phone. This technology is touted as "a cashier in the cloud that knows [Flying Pie's] entire menu front to back."

As well as helping businesses to improve the overall customer experience, conversational AI can help reduce the workload of customer service representatives, allowing them to focus on more complex customer issues.
