Kea AI Text AI has been launched as a conversational messaging feature that will enable restaurant guests to connect directly with a business in a simple way.
The artificial intelligence (AI)-powered messaging feature will allow users to ask questions about the menu, place their order and pay for their meals in a chat-style manner. The platform comes as complementary feature to the brand's existing Voice AI feature that allows users to place orders and more with a call. The text-style feature will support those who are unable to talk on the phone to prioritize convenience and inclusivity.
Chief Technology Officer John Merrells spoke on the Kea AI Text AI feature saying, "For years, we've learned from how real customers interact with restaurants. When people miss a call or can't talk, they instinctively text. They don't leave a voicemail. Text AI lets restaurants respond naturally in that same way, through friendly, on-brand messaging powered by AI."
