On Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday April 24th, the Toronto Zoo will be hosting a series of kid-friendly workshops in honor of Earth Day 2016. The event serves as a fun and interactive way to teach children how small environmental changes can have a big impact on wildlife populations.
Included free with the price of admission, the Earth Day workshops at the Toronto Zoo will teach visitors about the importance of greening and naturalizing their backyard. Each workshops will include informative presentations as well as hands-on, kid-friendly activities facilitated by local organizers. There are four different workshops for visitors to choose from, with topics ranging from urban beekeeping to container gardening.
By combining valuable information with hands-on activities, the event provides a fun way for families to celebrate Earth Day 2016.
