Maple-Themed Canadian Traditions

Sugar Shack TO Returns to Toronto with a New Maple-Filled Event

Sugar Shack TO, presented by Redpath, is returning to Toronto’s waterfront in 2026, now hosted at Harbourfront Centre. Announced on National Maple Syrup Day, the iconic maple celebration takes place March 14-15, marking its return after a one-year break.

Over the first weekend of March Break, Harbourfront Centre (235 Queens Quay W) will be transformed into a festive maple wonderland, featuring two sugar shacks serving fresh Ontario maple taffy, maple-infused comfort foods, and Redpath Sugar treats.

Visitors can enjoy live maple sugaring demonstrations, a Billy Bishop Airport warming station, interactive activities, and live entertainment. The event offers free general admission and runs 11 a.m.–6 p.m. on both days, celebrating Canadian maple traditions in a family-friendly, waterfront setting.
