Personalized Bean Cans

For Its Slogan's 50th Anniversary, Heinz is Offering Customized Cans

To help fans celebrate half a century of its beloved "Beanz Meanz Heinz" slogan, Heinz has rolled out a number of unique activations, which includes giving consumers the chance to create their own customized cans. For a limited time on BeanzMeanzHeinz.co.uk, fans in the UK may enter a maximum of eight characters and purchase a customized can keepsake.

For the 50-year celebration of its slogan, Heinz has also introduced the Beanz Bus and limited-edition cans with a retro-inspired design that include words like "Friendz," "Chipz" and "Smilez," all of which have been slightly modified so that they playfully end in the letter "Z."

A number of other brands like Nutella and Marmite have also experimented with the creation of personalized packaging as a means of helping consumers create deeper bonds with products.
