This distorted building silhouette is created out of "a twisted cube clad in zinc armor." The structure is designed by Marte Marte Architekten and the format is monumental and somewhat futuristic.
The structure is to house the contents of the State Gallery of Lower Austria. Given the extravagant realization of the building silhouette, the interiors of the gallery are also quite unique, even boasting "an original system for hanging artworks."
The glazed arches on the bottom of the building silhouette allow for a steady influx of light in. In addition, Marte Marte Architekten completes the cultural building with a small roofed terrace which will, without a doubt, add some value to the structure.
