Staggered Cubic Skyscrapers

OODA Works on a Rising Geometric Skyscraper in Tirana

Portuguese design studio OODA unveils a look at its new skyscraper which is formed of 13 cube volumes staggered on top of one another. This is the design of the Hora Verikale residential building located in Tirana with plans for Spring 2024. It will feature apartment spaces that rest over a park that hosts public amenities. It features seven variations of the 13 volumes and it is meant to engage the local community.

Speaking about the perspectives of the building, OODA states, "From a distance, the building presents distinct elevations and perceptions from different views around the city. Up close, the concept's playful interplay reveals its secrets, and the compositions step back from the main road towards the park at the rear, creating the most adequate transition in terms of scale."
