Dr Pepper and Mark Cuban Partner for the Bitcoin Toss

For this year's annual Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway program, the company partnered with Mark Cuban to create the first Bitcoin Toss competition. Two lucky student contestants who applied for the scholarship were surprised by an in-person meeting with billionaire Mark Cuban, a cryptocurrency advocate.

The contestants had a chance to win $23,000 worth of Bitcoin via the Bitcoin Toss to help with their education. The event occurred on Saturday, November 20th. Mark Cuban broadcasted the competition via social media channels to showcase the exciting event. To date, the Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway has provided over $12 million in tuition to students across the country. This year's giveaway aimed to recognize students who are enthusiastically pursuing careers in the dynamic new world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
