Esports tournament platform FACEIT has tapped cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT for a new tournament called the WhiteBIT Community Clash. The tournament will see players engage in multiple CS:GO matches throughout the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. The remaining teams will face off on stage for a shot at the Tether cryptocurrency prize fund. The competition is FACEIT and WhiteBIT's second partnership. The two businesses teamed together in February to give players chances to win bitcoin incentives.
“WhiteBIT has always been about pioneers who explore new levels of experience. That is the theme of today’s announcement we are making with our friends from FACEIT. Together, we plan to present an upgraded gaming experience on their platform. This is just the first of the many steps we will take together going forward,” commented Volodymyr Nosov, CEO of WhiteBIT.
