Debut Competitive Esports Tournaments

The Finals is Hosting its First $100K Esports Tournament

The Finals has announced its first official esports tournament. This inaugural LAN event underscores the game's growing competitive scene and aligns with the studio’s strategy to expand its esports presence.

To support this transition, Season 6 (launching in March) will introduce key esports-focused updates, including an enhanced private match experience for greater control over in-game settings and an upgraded spectator mode to improve viewership engagement.

“Esports has always been a natural fit for The Finals,” the company stated in an official blog post. “We’re in the process of ensuring the game is ready to support high-level competition.”

The tournament, featuring a $100,000 (~£78,440) prize pool, is open to players worldwide, fostering global participation and industry recognition. By investing in esports infrastructure, Embark Studios strengthens The Finals’ long-term viability as a competitive title, attracting players, sponsors, and tournament organizers.
