Corona's Campaigns Encourage Consumers to Recycle Empty Packaging

To encourage recycling, Corona created a series of beer bottle ads with no beer bottles in sight. These ads from a campaign crafted by advertising agencies DAVID São Paulo and DAVID Bogota help to increase consumer education and encourage responsible disposal of empty packaging after use. These visuals state: "We returned the bottle of this ad. Return yours."

In the absence of its own product, other brand details get to shine through, such as the logo, as well as the beautiful natural settings where people often enjoy a bottle of beer outside. Ultimately, this initiative aims to reduce beach and ocean pollution, keeping outdoor spaces free from waste.

As part of the brand's recycling project across four participating countries, more than two million empty bottles have been sent back.
