The Bell + Whete European Kitchen + Lounge recently played host to a unique beer and food pairing event that explored options beyond standard pub fare like pretzels, nuts and nachos. The event was organized with Sierra Nevada Brewing, a brewery that has reached cult status for its legendary Pale Ale.
Naturally, the light Pale Ale was served alongside appetizer dishes like Seaweed-Dusted Caramel Corn, as well as Foie Gras Torchon with Spring Onion Brulee. The brand's Hop Hunter IPA and Hop Hunter IPA were served with decadent meat and vegetable-based main dishes, while the Ovila Abbey Saison was the final beer saved for the dessert course.
As well as being treated to a four-course meal and treats to take home, diners were able to walk away with loads of information on pairing the brand's artisan beers with meals.
