Jackfruit-Infused Hummus Spreads

Sabra's Sweet & Smoky BBQ Hummus is Topped with Jackfruit

Sabra recently launched an all-new, limited-edition Sweet & Smoky BBQ Hummus that is topped with smoked paprika and pieces of jackfruit.

Jackfruit is becoming well-known as a plant-based meat substitute on everything from pizzas to pulled pork-style sandwiches, as the tree fruit boasts a similar texture to meat and boasts the ability to easily take on seasonings and flavors.

For the creation of this product, Sabra's digital marketing director, Ryan Saghir, notes that "this recipe was influenced by insights derived from social media. We relied heavily on influencer input and the conversations food enthusiasts are having online to inspire this delicious limited-edition variety." The plant-based hummus offers a satisfying way for all consumers to enjoy the sweet and smoky taste of barbecue this summer, without involving any actual meat or grilling.
