Archi-Union Architects built ‘Tea House’ in the backyard of its studio offices in Shanghai, China. The team wanted to embody harmony by integrating the enclosed interiors with the wide and open exteriors. This delightful living space is the look of the future and its unique shape is out of the ordinary. The way it appears to be built around nature instead of on top of it is a beautiful concept and there is even a grown tree sprouts that through the house.

With minimalist concrete and glass exteriors, this home is great for all kinds of residents, no matter their style. The shape is unique and intriguing with walls that bend and spiral, a concrete ceiling that looks cave-like, unique lighting fixtures and a room dedicated to books. The reading room is designed to let in as much natural light as possible, giving the whole room a fresh and bright aura. Archi-Union Architects truly created something inspiring and considerate, as the structure doesn't harm nature, but rests harmoniously around it.
